Workshop · One day · In-house

Build coaches who can improve the system—not just facilitate its ceremonies.

A practical, developmental workshop for Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, Agile coaches, Agile Practice Leads and delivery leaders responsible for coaching communities.

The promise

What participants leave with.

A cross-functional group mapping work with sticky notes during a workshop
Real workshop sessions facilitated by Jon Kelly.

Participants leave with a sharper sense of how to select the right coaching stance for the moment, how to diagnose the system using evidence rather than opinion, and how to design a practical improvement experiment they can run in the next 30, 60 and 90 days.

This is a developmental workshop, not certification training. There is no single "coach score" and no public ranking. The intent is to raise the capability of your internal coaching community.

Ten learning areas

A full day of practical work.

  1. 01

    Coaching stance & contracting

Selecting between coaching, mentoring, facilitating, teaching and advising—and contracting clearly.

  2. 02

    Team development & conflict

Reading team dynamics honestly and intervening in useful ways.

  3. 03

    Outcome & discovery coaching

Coaching teams to work from problems and outcomes, not features and dates.

  4. 04

    Flow & value-stream diagnosis

Using flow evidence to identify where value is waiting across the stream.

  5. 05

    Systems mapping & impediments

Mapping organisational impediments and shaping useful conversations with leaders.

  6. 06

    Stakeholder influence

Building influence without authority; making the system's problems visible.

  7. 07

    Multi-team & portfolio coaching

Scaling beyond a single team—coaching across dependencies and portfolios.

  8. 08

    Evidence-based assessment

Assessing coaching impact using observed evidence, not self-report.

  9. 09

    Observed practice

Real coaching practice, with feedback from peers and facilitator.

  10. 10

    30/60/90 experiment

Design a practical improvement experiment to take back to your organisation.
