Jon Kelly · Enterprise Agile Coach · UK & Ireland
Practical, human-centred agile coaching for complex organisations.
I'm Jon Kelly. I help product, technology and delivery leaders get unstuck, make work flow and turn strategy into customer value. My coaching is grounded in more than 15 years of doing the work myself — as a business analyst, project and programme manager, Scrum Master, delivery lead, Release Train Engineer and agile coach.
"I've sat in the seat."
I understand the pressure of delivery because I've carried it.

When good people are stuck in a difficult system
Your people may not be the problem. The conditions around them might be.
Most teams I meet are not short of effort. They are dealing with too many priorities, slow decisions, late dependencies and pressure to promise more than the system can deliver. Adding another ceremony rarely fixes that.
Everyone is busy, but too little is finishing.
Priorities change faster than teams can respond.
The same decisions keep circling the same leaders.
Dependencies appear late and create another fire drill.
Teams are doing Agile, but have lost sight of why.
Dashboards show activity without creating clarity.
We make the real work visible, have the honest conversations and change the system together.

How I help
Four clear ways to move forward.
See what's really slowing delivery
Map the journey from idea to outcome. Reveal queues, ageing work, decision delays and dependencies without blaming the people in the system.
ExploreMake delivery calmer and more predictable
Use practical flow measures, clearer policies and focused experiments to reduce overload and finish more of what matters.
ExploreConnect strategy, product and delivery
Help leaders make honest choices, align investment with capacity and organise around customer problems and measurable outcomes.
ExploreGrow confident coaches and delivery leaders
Build the judgement, coaching range and systems awareness of Scrum Masters, RTEs, agile coaches and delivery leaders.
ExplorePractical AI for small business
Make AI useful in the work you already do.
Most small businesses do not need another collection of AI tools. They need help identifying where time, attention and momentum are being lost — and a practical way to fix it.
I work with you to understand one recurring frustration, map the current process and build a small AI-assisted workflow your team can understand and use.
Start with the business problem, not the software
Build one useful workflow before expanding
Keep people responsible for judgement and decisions
Add ongoing support only where it creates value
A human, practical approach
No theatre. No shame. No permanent dependency.
Listen before prescribing
Understand the people, pressures and history before recommending change.
Look at the whole system
Follow the work across boundaries instead of optimising one team in isolation.
Use evidence with empathy
Let data improve the conversation, never weaponise it against people.
Leave capability behind
Work alongside your people until they can see and improve the system for themselves.
"My job is not to make you dependent on a coach. It is to help your people build the confidence and capability to keep improving after I leave."
Value Flow Health Check
Not sure where to begin? Find where work is getting stuck.
Take a five-minute reflection across priorities, work in progress, decisions, dependencies, outcomes and learning. You will get useful questions to take into your next leadership conversation — not a maturity score or a judgement.
- Strategic clarity
- Work in progress
- Decision speed
- Dependencies
- Discovery & delivery
- Ageing work
- Customer outcomes
- Learning speed
- Leadership policies
- Improvement capability
Tools for human work
Clearer thinking for a world that keeps getting noisier.
AI can produce more options, more text and more activity. It cannot make the human choice about what matters now. Explore practical tools from JKL Agile for focus, flow and human-first work.
Experience in action
Practical work inside complex delivery systems.
My work has included multi-team financial-services environments where portfolio commitments exceeded demonstrated capacity, dependencies were visible locally but not across the whole system, and leaders had plenty of status data without the evidence needed to make better decisions.

What's feeling harder than it should right now?
You do not need to arrive with the answer. Bring the delivery problem, the tension or the pattern you keep seeing. We'll work out whether I can help.
